Bio

Iris V. Savage is a mother, minister, coach, author and electrical engineer. Also known as Rev. Savage and Coach Iris, she has a passion for teaching God’s Word, training and coaching, while supporting others in reaching their God-given purpose. Iris’ passion is helping individuals and businesses realize and operate in their full potential. 

She has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, Duke University. She is a Certified Personal and Executive Coach through The CaPP Institute. Iris has worked as a Project Manager for most of her professional career at Monsanto Company and The Daniel Group, Ltd. She has been an ordained minister since 2000. Her call to ministry is teaching and counseling. She is also the co-author of the children’s book, Trying My Best to Be Good by the Play Groop and a contributor to In Her Shoes: A Stronger Version of Me, a compilation of women’s testimonies who have overcome adversity.

She is a native of Mobile, AL, but has lived in various cities in Alabama, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas. She currently resides in Round Rock, TX. She is a widow previously married 17 years to the late LeRoy Savage, Jr., and is the mother of their two sons, Noah and Chai.
